My journey in customer success consulting began when I emailed customer support at a software company and received a templated response a week later. And they didn't even bother to change the name on the template. Yikes! The client that I was working with had a high-tier plan and was on the verge of canceling. I loved their product but their service was terrible. I read all of their reviews online and drafted a short slide deck listing out problems and potential solutions on how they could improve and sent a cold email to the founder. I was offered a contract job soon after and ever since then I've been helping customer success teams achieve success.

Prior to dabbling in customer success and tech startups, I was a freelance consultant working for health insurance companies and small medical businesses for two years. I've also got prior experience working as a territory account manager and project manager for a Fortune 500 company.
